# I vs Veras

The clearest difference is update cadence: Veras at every 10 days against I's every 46 months. I's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 16.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

I ships an update every 46 months, Veras every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
