# WIN TV vs ETV Win

The clearest difference is rating: WIN TV at 4.0 against ETV Win's 2.1. WIN TV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.6). ETV Win's advantage is ratings volume (321 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ETV Win sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. WIN TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

WIN TV holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ETV Win has 321 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of WIN TV's written reviews are positive against 19% of ETV Win's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WIN TV ships an update every 4 months, ETV Win every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
