# Ferguson Home vs Reece maX

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Reece maX at 100% against Ferguson Home's 51%. Reece maX also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). Ferguson Home's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (11K vs 15). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ferguson Home holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ferguson Home has 11K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Ferguson Home's written reviews are positive against 100% of Reece maX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ferguson Home ships an update every 3 months, Reece maX fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
