# VPN Secure Proxy vs SuperVPN

The clearest difference is ratings volume: VPN Secure Proxy at 43K against SuperVPN's 3.7K. SuperVPN's advantage is monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Secure Proxy sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and SuperVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for VPN Secure Proxy against 4.6 for SuperVPN. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Secure Proxy has 43K ratings behind it against 3.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of VPN Secure Proxy's written reviews are positive against 75% of SuperVPN's.

VPN Secure Proxy ships an update every 6 weeks, SuperVPN every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
