# VPN Secure Proxy vs Secured VPN Pro

The clearest difference is rating: VPN Secure Proxy at 4.5 against Secured VPN Pro's 3.5. VPN Secure Proxy also leads on ratings volume (43K vs 264). Secured VPN Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Secure Proxy sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Secured VPN Pro sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VPN Secure Proxy holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Secure Proxy has 43K ratings behind it against 264, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of VPN Secure Proxy's written reviews are positive against 86% of Secured VPN Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

VPN Secure Proxy ships an update every 6 weeks, Secured VPN Pro weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
