# VPN Secure Proxy vs VPN Master

The clearest difference is ratings volume: VPN Secure Proxy at 43K against VPN Master's 1.5K. VPN Master's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and review sentiment (83% vs 71%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Secure Proxy sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and VPN Master sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for VPN Secure Proxy against 4.4 for VPN Master. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VPN Secure Proxy has 43K ratings behind it against 1.5K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 71% of VPN Secure Proxy's written reviews are positive against 83% of VPN Master's.

VPN Secure Proxy ships an update every 6 weeks, VPN Master every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and August 31, 2026 respectively.
