# VPN Secure Proxy vs Secure VPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: Secure VPN at weekly against VPN Secure Proxy's every 6 weeks. Secure VPN also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 71%). VPN Secure Proxy's advantage is ratings volume (43K vs 409). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VPN Secure Proxy sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Secure VPN sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
