# SCamera vs DELTA Camera

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DELTA Camera at none against SCamera's 1. DELTA Camera also leads on rating (4.4 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 2 days vs weekly). SCamera's advantage is ratings volume (95 vs 11). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SCamera sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. DELTA Camera asks for nothing beyond the download.

DELTA Camera holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SCamera has 95 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of SCamera's written reviews are positive against 67% of DELTA Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SCamera ships an update weekly, DELTA Camera every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
