# Letterboxd vs Kassandra

The clearest difference is ads: Kassandra at none against Letterboxd's shown. Letterboxd's advantage is ratings volume (88K vs 1) and chart position (#20 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Letterboxd sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per year and Kassandra sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kassandra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Letterboxd has 88K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
