# Letterboxd vs Cyrics

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Cyrics at 100% against Letterboxd's 59%. Cyrics also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Letterboxd's advantage is ratings volume (88K vs 1) and chart position (#18 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Letterboxd sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $18.99 per year and Cyrics sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cyrics holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Letterboxd has 88K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 59% of Letterboxd's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cyrics's.
