# Appito vs Somsports

The clearest difference is rating: Somsports at 5.0 against Appito's 3.9. Somsports also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). Appito's advantage is ratings volume (30 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Somsports holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Appito has 30 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Appito ships an update monthly, Somsports weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
