# Tomplay Sheet Music vs FingerFiddle

The clearest difference is price: Tomplay Sheet Music at Free against FingerFiddle's $2.99. Tomplay Sheet Music also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). FingerFiddle's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On review sentiment, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Tomplay Sheet Music is free to download; FingerFiddle costs $2.99 up front. Tomplay Sheet Music sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and FingerFiddle sells 9 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tomplay Sheet Music holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tomplay Sheet Music has 7.2K ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Tomplay Sheet Music's written reviews are positive against 82% of FingerFiddle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tomplay Sheet Music ships an update every 2 weeks, FingerFiddle every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
