# ClockIngs vs Netbook

The clearest difference is ads: ClockIngs at none against Netbook's shown. Netbook's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 18 months) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ClockIngs ships an update every 18 months, Netbook every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
