# Formula E vs WorldSBK

The clearest difference is rating: WorldSBK at 5.0 against Formula E's 4.2. Formula E's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WorldSBK sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Formula E asks for nothing beyond the download.

WorldSBK holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Formula E has 1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Formula E's written reviews are positive against 5% of WorldSBK's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Formula E ships an update every 3 weeks, WorldSBK every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
