# ThermoLinx vs Security

The clearest difference is rating: Security at 4.8 against ThermoLinx's 1.7. Security also leads on ratings volume (132 vs 7). ThermoLinx's advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 12%) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Security holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security has 132 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of ThermoLinx's written reviews are positive against 12% of Security's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ThermoLinx ships an update every 6 weeks, Security every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
