# Sheytoon vs Pendar

The clearest difference is rating: Pendar at 5.0 against Sheytoon's 4.6. Pendar also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Sheytoon's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sheytoon sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per 7 days and Pendar sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pendar holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sheytoon has 10K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sheytoon ships an update every 2 months, Pendar weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
