# GetSpace vs Privacy VPN

The clearest difference is rating: Privacy VPN at 4.2 against GetSpace's 3.9. GetSpace's advantage is review sentiment (70% vs 50%) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GetSpace sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Privacy VPN sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Privacy VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.9. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 45 and 53 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of GetSpace's written reviews are positive against 50% of Privacy VPN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
