# Jottacloud vs Jumpshare

The clearest difference is update cadence: Jottacloud at fortnightly against Jumpshare's monthly. Jumpshare's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 54%) and ratings volume (468 vs 73). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jottacloud sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Jumpshare sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Jottacloud against 4.7 for Jumpshare. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jumpshare has 468 ratings behind it against 73, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 54% of Jottacloud's written reviews are positive against 65% of Jumpshare's.

Jottacloud ships an update fortnightly, Jumpshare monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
