# Jottacloud vs ObGitSync

The clearest difference is ads: Jottacloud at none against ObGitSync's shown. Jottacloud also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). ObGitSync's advantage is update cadence (daily vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jottacloud sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and ObGitSync sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Jottacloud ships an update fortnightly, ObGitSync daily. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
