# Offline Map vs My GPS Odometer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Offline Map at 89% against My GPS Odometer's 33%. Offline Map also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (44 vs 3). My GPS Odometer's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Offline Map sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and My GPS Odometer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My GPS Odometer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Offline Map has 44 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of Offline Map's written reviews are positive against 33% of My GPS Odometer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Offline Map ships an update every 3 weeks, My GPS Odometer every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
