# Typesy vs Type the Bible

The clearest difference is update cadence: Typesy at monthly against Type the Bible's every 17 months. Typesy also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (188 vs 19). Type the Bible's advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 63%) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Typesy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and Type the Bible sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Typesy holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Typesy has 188 ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Typesy's written reviews are positive against 78% of Type the Bible's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Typesy ships an update monthly, Type the Bible every 17 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
