# GoPlus Cam vs Camera Controller Lite

The clearest difference is rating: Camera Controller Lite at 2.5 against GoPlus Cam's 2.0. Camera Controller Lite also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 11.0). GoPlus Cam's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and ratings volume (354 vs 4). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Camera Controller Lite sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. GoPlus Cam asks for nothing beyond the download.

Camera Controller Lite holds the better App Store score, 2.5 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GoPlus Cam has 354 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of GoPlus Cam's written reviews are positive against 0% of Camera Controller Lite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
