# Slow Motion Video Edit vs Slow pro

The clearest difference is rating: Slow Motion Video Edit at 4.1 against Slow pro's 2.9. Slow Motion Video Edit also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (20% vs 6%). Slow pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (459 vs 13). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Slow Motion Video Edit sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Slow pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Slow Motion Video Edit holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 2.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slow pro has 459 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Slow Motion Video Edit's written reviews are positive against 6% of Slow pro's.

Slow Motion Video Edit ships an update every 6 weeks, Slow pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
