# StepBet vs Steppa

The clearest difference is monetization model: Steppa at free against StepBet's free with in-app purchases. Steppa also leads on review sentiment (53% vs 35%) and chart position (#115 vs unranked). StepBet's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 1.8K). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. StepBet sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month and Steppa sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StepBet holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: StepBet has 23K ratings behind it against 1.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of StepBet's written reviews are positive against 53% of Steppa's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 22, 2026.
