# Countryside App vs NWCOC

The clearest difference is update cadence: NWCOC at every 2 months against Countryside App's every 9 months. Countryside App's advantage is ratings volume (21 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Countryside App against 5.0 for NWCOC. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Countryside App has 21 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Countryside App ships an update every 9 months, NWCOC every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
