# SmartApfel vs Manci

The clearest difference is update cadence: SmartApfel at fortnightly against Manci's every 2 months. SmartApfel also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SmartApfel sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month and Manci sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmartApfel ships an update fortnightly, Manci every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
