# iBal Fixed vs QuitBuddy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iBal Fixed at 92% against QuitBuddy's 33%. iBal Fixed also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 13) and ads (none vs shown). QuitBuddy's advantage is price (Free vs $17.99) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months). On device support there is nothing between them.

QuitBuddy is free to download; iBal Fixed costs $17.99 up front. QuitBuddy sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. iBal Fixed asks for nothing beyond the download.

QuitBuddy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: QuitBuddy has 229 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 92% of iBal Fixed's written reviews are positive against 33% of QuitBuddy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iBal Fixed ships an update every 3 months, QuitBuddy every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
