# AMI Player Pro vs SGGPlayerM

The clearest difference is price: SGGPlayerM at Free against AMI Player Pro's $2.99. SGGPlayerM also leads on rating (4.5 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (10 vs 2). AMI Player Pro's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 67%). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

SGGPlayerM is free to download; AMI Player Pro costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SGGPlayerM holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SGGPlayerM has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of AMI Player Pro's written reviews are positive against 67% of SGGPlayerM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AMI Player Pro ships an update fortnightly, SGGPlayerM every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
