# FingerFiddle vs GeoShred

The clearest difference is price: FingerFiddle at $2.99 against GeoShred's $24.99. FingerFiddle also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). GeoShred's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

FingerFiddle costs $2.99 and GeoShred $24.99 up front. FingerFiddle sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and GeoShred sells 25 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GeoShred holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GeoShred has 1.4K ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 82% of FingerFiddle's written reviews are positive against 91% of GeoShred's.

FingerFiddle ships an update every 3 months, GeoShred fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
