# AeolCloud vs CTO

The clearest difference is rating: AeolCloud at 4.5 against CTO's 1.0. AeolCloud also leads on ratings volume (220 vs 1). CTO's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AeolCloud holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AeolCloud has 220 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

AeolCloud ships an update every 8 months, CTO fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
