# UniFi vs Gallagher Devices

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Gallagher Devices at 86% against UniFi's 47%. Gallagher Devices also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). UniFi's advantage is ratings volume (25K vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gallagher Devices holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UniFi has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
