# UniFi vs tempCube

The clearest difference is rating: UniFi at 4.7 against tempCube's 3.7. UniFi also leads on monetization model (free vs paid) and ratings volume (25K vs 42). tempCube's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 47%) and iOS requirement (13.2 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

UniFi holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UniFi has 25K ratings behind it against 42, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of UniFi's written reviews are positive against 65% of tempCube's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UniFi ships an update fortnightly, tempCube every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
