# Libro.fm Audiobooks vs Saga

The clearest difference is monetization model: Saga at free against Libro.fm Audiobooks's free with in-app purchases. Saga also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). Libro.fm Audiobooks's advantage is ratings volume (41K vs 23) and chart position (#88 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Libro.fm Audiobooks against 4.9 for Saga. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Libro.fm Audiobooks has 41K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two.
