# Case Hack vs Case Simulator 3

The clearest difference is ads: Case Hack at none against Case Simulator 3's shown. Case Hack also leads on iOS requirement (7.0 vs 16.6). Case Simulator 3's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 7 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Case Hack sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Case Simulator 3 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Case Simulator 3 holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 117 and 297 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Case Hack's written reviews are positive against 56% of Case Simulator 3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Case Hack ships an update every 7 months, Case Simulator 3 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
