# MapplerK2 vs SeeReal

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SeeReal at 98% against MapplerK2's 20%. SeeReal also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). MapplerK2's advantage is rating (3.5 vs 3.0) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MapplerK2 holds the better App Store score, 3.5 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of MapplerK2's written reviews are positive against 98% of SeeReal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MapplerK2 ships an update every 2 months, SeeReal every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
