# Drum Pad Machine vs SUPER DRUM

The clearest difference is rating: Drum Pad Machine at 4.6 against SUPER DRUM's 4.0. Drum Pad Machine also leads on ratings volume (675K vs 92) and chart position (#182 vs unranked). SUPER DRUM's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (9.2 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Drum Pad Machine sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and SUPER DRUM sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Drum Pad Machine holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drum Pad Machine has 675K ratings behind it against 92, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Drum Pad Machine's written reviews are positive against 70% of SUPER DRUM's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Drum Pad Machine ships an update every 3 months, SUPER DRUM every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
