# AbsChallenge vs Hoops

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hoops at every 5 days against AbsChallenge's every 30 months. AbsChallenge's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AbsChallenge sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Hoops sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AbsChallenge ships an update every 30 months, Hoops every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
