# Christmas Countdown vs Afrix

The clearest difference is update cadence: Afrix at every 5 days against Christmas Countdown's every 49 months. Christmas Countdown's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Christmas Countdown sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Afrix sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Christmas Countdown ships an update every 49 months, Afrix every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
