# Floor Covering vs CoverMat

The clearest difference is rating: CoverMat at 5.0 against Floor Covering's 4.5. CoverMat also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). Floor Covering's advantage is ratings volume (416 vs 1) and review sentiment (70% vs 50%). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Floor Covering sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. CoverMat asks for nothing beyond the download.

CoverMat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Floor Covering has 416 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of Floor Covering's written reviews are positive against 50% of CoverMat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
