# Arabic String vs Oud Sim

The clearest difference is rating: Oud Sim at 5.0 against Arabic String's 4.0. Arabic String's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (29 vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Arabic String sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Oud Sim sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Oud Sim holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Arabic String has 29 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Arabic String ships an update monthly, Oud Sim every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and September 15, 2026 respectively.
