# Sounds Effect Loudest Button vs Gravity

The clearest difference is monetization model: Sounds Effect Loudest Button at free with in-app purchases against Gravity's subscription. Sounds Effect Loudest Button also leads on review sentiment (60% vs 25%) and ads (none vs shown). Gravity's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 20 months) and ratings volume (35K vs 263). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sounds Effect Loudest Button sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Gravity sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for Sounds Effect Loudest Button against 4.5 for Gravity. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Gravity has 35K ratings behind it against 263, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Sounds Effect Loudest Button's written reviews are positive against 25% of Gravity's.

Sounds Effect Loudest Button ships an update every 20 months, Gravity fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
