# SuperLive Plus vs Optina

The clearest difference is rating: Optina at 5.0 against SuperLive Plus's 3.9. Optina also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 12.1). SuperLive Plus's advantage is ratings volume (16K vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Optina holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SuperLive Plus has 16K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

SuperLive Plus ships an update every 6 weeks, Optina every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
