# ELSA Lite vs PSAware

The clearest difference is rating: ELSA Lite at 5.0 against PSAware's 2.1. ELSA Lite also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). PSAware's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 2) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ELSA Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PSAware has 35 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ELSA Lite ships an update monthly, PSAware fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
