# Bobby vs GhostCatch

The clearest difference is review sentiment: GhostCatch at 100% against Bobby's 56%. GhostCatch also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Bobby's advantage is ratings volume (8K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Bobby sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and GhostCatch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GhostCatch holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bobby has 8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 56% of Bobby's written reviews are positive against 100% of GhostCatch's.

Bobby ships an update every 2 months, GhostCatch monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
