# Próximo Ferry vs Cooltra

Próximo Ferry and Cooltra both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of Próximo Ferry's written reviews are positive against 50% of Cooltra's. Próximo Ferry also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Cooltra's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (456 vs 3). On price, rating, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Próximo Ferry against 4.6 for Cooltra. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cooltra has 456 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of Próximo Ferry's written reviews are positive against 50% of Cooltra's.
