# SekurMessenger vs Pallares

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pallares at 100% against SekurMessenger's 57%. Pallares also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks). SekurMessenger's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pallares holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SekurMessenger has 30 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of SekurMessenger's written reviews are positive against 100% of Pallares's.

SekurMessenger ships an update every 5 weeks, Pallares every 2 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
