# LiveViewGolf vs CBS

The clearest difference is rating: CBS at 4.8 against LiveViewGolf's 2.8. CBS also leads on ratings volume (71K vs 20) and chart position (#162 vs unranked). LiveViewGolf's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CBS holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CBS has 71K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of LiveViewGolf's written reviews are positive against 36% of CBS's.

LiveViewGolf ships an update monthly, CBS fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
