# XRP Alerts vs XRP Tracker

The clearest difference is monetization model: XRP Tracker at ad-supported against XRP Alerts's subscription. XRP Tracker also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 57%) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.4). XRP Alerts's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 40) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. XRP Alerts sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and XRP Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for XRP Alerts against 4.8 for XRP Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: XRP Alerts has 2K ratings behind it against 40, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of XRP Alerts's written reviews are positive against 67% of XRP Tracker's.

XRP Alerts ships an update every 2 months, XRP Tracker every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
