# GATOR SAFE vs FairVote

The clearest difference is update cadence: FairVote at every 9 days against GATOR SAFE's every 23 months. GATOR SAFE's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

GATOR SAFE ships an update every 23 months, FairVote every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
