# SCAD vs Proctortrack

The clearest difference is rating: Proctortrack at 3.2 against SCAD's 2.5. Proctortrack also leads on ratings volume (576 vs 12) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). SCAD's advantage is review sentiment (22% vs 2%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Proctortrack holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Proctortrack has 576 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of SCAD's written reviews are positive against 2% of Proctortrack's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SCAD ships an update every 5 weeks, Proctortrack every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
